Chelsea are one potential destination for Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in the summer, according to reports in the German media.
The 34-year-old’s contract at the Allianz Arena expires at the end of next season, and he could be offloaded in the summer to prevent the World Cup winner from leaving for nothing.
Supporters on Twitter are not particularly enthusiastic about the prospect of Neuer moving to Stamford Bridge, with many believing he is past his best:

Chelsea are said to be on the lookout for a new keeper with Kepa Arrizabalaga unlikely to remain at the club beyond the summer.
However, manager Frank Lampard seems to be looking for a young keeper with Ajax’s Andre Onana, AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma and Udinese’s Juan Musso all having been linked.
Neuer would certainly add a lot of experience if he were to make the switch to England, but it is more likely that he’ll sign a new deal to stay in Germany.
