Finally, just seeing him on bench will be enough for me. My eyes have suffered in his absence

Fofana has struggled with his fitness since moving to Stamford Bridge
Since joining Chelsea from Leicester City in the summer of 2022, the Frenchman has spent almost 600 days on the sidelines.
Some may argue that Fofana has been unlucky with injuries. He hasn’t had recurring problems but, when he does get injured, he tends to be out for a lengthy period of time.
Some feared that the Chelsea star’s season was over
Head coach Enzo Maresca was so pessimistic about the centre-back’s recent injury that he declared that he could miss the rest of the campaign – a claim that was denied by the player himself on social media.
Based on this latest update, Fofana appears to have made rapid progress in his recovery and he could be starting matches for the first team very soon.
