Chelsea centre-back Wesley Fofana has been pictured in training over the past week or so, but he did not take part in either friendly against Bayer Leverkusen or Milan.
Speaking about the player’s fitness at the weekend, Maresca did confirm that the Frenchman is ready for selection:
“He will be available for Palace. We are very happy because he is an important player.”
Fofana last played against Arsenal back in March before he was forced to undergo surgery on a hamstring injury. The best he can hope for this weekend is a place on the bench.
