Wesley Fofana
Fofana is dealing with a concussion that he suffered against Lincoln in the Carabao Cup during the week last week. He has been ruled out of the Champions League game on Tuesday.
Maresca hopes to see him return before Chelsea’s next Premier League game against Liverpool next weekend.

Tosin Adarabioyo
Tosin is currently dealing with a calf injury, which has forced him to miss the last few games. It was a blow for Chelsea, as the defender was Maresca’s first choice alongside Trevoh Chalobah at the back early in the season
Maresca said last week: “We have Tosin injured. He will probably be out until the international break as he has a small problem with his calf.”
Expected return date – 18/10/2025 vs Nottingham Forest (A)
Cole Palmer
Palmer is currently out with a groin injury that he suffered against Man United last weekend, it forced him to miss the Brighton match, which was a big blow for Maresca.
However, his injury isn’t expected to be a major problem, and the Chelsea boss has said that they are being careful with their star player over his injury.
He said: “He have decided to protect Cole a little bit, in terms of his injury not getting worse. So, we decided to rest him for the next 2-3 weeks, probably until after the international break, to see whether, with rest, he can recover 100 per cent and be completely fit.”

Liam Delap
The Chelsea striker is dealing with a hamstring injury which was a nightmare for many Blues fans to see, as he hardly got the chance to hit the ground running before suffering his injury.
He is currently looking at an earliest return in November, meaning that Joao Pedro will remain as the first choice striker.
Expected return date – 22/11/2025 vs Burnley (A)
Levi Colwill
Colwill is dealing with a long-term ACL injury which required surgery in August, meaning that he will miss a long period of time.
It is not yet understood whether we will see Colwill return for Chelsea before the end of the season, meaning he may next appear at the start of the 2026/27 season.
