Chelsea winger Estevao has suffered a minor muscular injury which meant that he was unavailable for the 3-1 win over Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.

Head coach Enzo Maresca claims the Brazilian won’t be sidelined for long but he is not in contention for the trip to St James’ Park this weekend. He should be back for the following fixture.

Expected Return Date – Saturday 27th December vs Aston Villa (h)

Liam Delap

The striker picked up a shoulder injury during the 0-0 draw against Bournemouth. He was forced off midway through the first half.

Maresca says that Delap could be sidelined for up to a month, but he is not sure of the exact timeframe at the moment.
