Benoit Badiashile
The defender sustained an injury during the Club World Cup round of 16 tie against Benfica.
Like Lavia, it was initially described as a minor knock but Badiashile did not play in pre-season and he was not included in the matchday squad for the fixtures against Crystal Palace and West Ham.
The Frenchman is believed to be back in light training but he is expected to miss the Fulham match this weekend.
As things stand, Badiashile’s comeback is pencilled in for sometime next month.
Expected Return Date: September
Levi Colwill
The centre-half picked up an anterior cruciate ligament injury shortly before the start of the season.
It was confirmed by the Blues that Colwill had undergone surgery and he will now begin a lengthy rehabilitation process.
ACLs usually take at least nine months to recover from, so it is unlikely that the defender will play again this season.
If his recovery goes well, Colwill may feature in the final few games but his focus will now be on ensuring he is ready to go next campaign.
Expected Return Date: May
