Romeo Lavia

Rosenior has said that the midfielder is closing in on his comeback from a muscular injury, but the Blues are being very cautious with his recovery due to past setbacks:

“Romeo is on the way back, which is great because he’s a very good, outstanding player at a very high level. I want him back as quickly as possible, of course, but I want him back with no more injuries.”

“We don’t want to force him, we want him back where he can get into a flow of repetitive game time.”

Lavia has not played since pulling up during the Champions League fixture against Qarabag in early November.

Expected Return Date – February

Tosin Adarabioyo

The centre-back pulled his hamstring during the 2-0 win over Brentford earlier this month, and Rosenior has confirmed that he will be sidelined for at least a few weeks.

As well as the Pafos and Palace fixtures, Tosin could also be unavailable for another four games against Napoli, West Ham, Arsenal (in the Carabao Cup) and Wolves.
