Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku is expected to be sidelined with an injury for the next couple of weeks.
The Frenchman was not included in the squad for the first leg of the Conference League semi-final against Djurgarden and he was also absent for the 3-1 win over Liverpool at the weekend. Speaking about Nkunku’s fitness on Sunday, head coach Enzo Marescas said:
“Christo will be out for, I’m not sure, I think one week, two weeks. We are going to see. He will be out for the next 10 days, 15 days.”
It means Nkunku could potentially be sidelined for the next two or three fixtures, depending on the length of his recovery.
