Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah should return for the Blues’ next fixture after recovering from a back injury.
The defender was forced off with the problem in the early stages of the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa. However, speaking earlier this week, head coach Enzo Maresca said:
“He had a check yesterday, and he will be around one week to 10 days. On one side, it is good because it is not an important injury, but on the other side, it is a shame because we lose another player at this moment with the amount of injuries that we had.”
That means Chalobah should be in contention for the Conference League last 16 first leg next week.
