Chelsea captain Reece James is back in team training and he could make the matchday squad against Nottingham Forest.
The defender has not played since undergoing an operation on a hamstring injury all the way back in late December.
It was estimated that James would be out for around four months but it has taken slightly longer than expected to return to full fitness.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino says he is hopeful of giving the right-back some game time off the bench this weekend.
