Chelsea In Talks To Sell Tammy Abraham To Wolves

Wolves have held talks with Chelsea about signing Tammy Abraham on a permanent basis, according to Sky Sports News.

The 21-year-old has been on loan at Aston Villa where he has scored 16 goals in the league so far this season, topping the Championship goalscoring charts.

A host of Premier League teams reportedly want to sign Abraham on loan for the rest of the campaign but Wolves look to have stolen a march on their rivals by entering negotiations about a permanent transfer.

There have been reports that a transfer fee of £18m has already been agreed but, at the time of writing, it is believed that this is not the case.

Abraham came through the academy at the Blues and has had loan spells at Bristol City and Swansea prior to his move to Villa Park.

However, despite manager Maurizio Sarri needing to strengthen his forward line, it seems that the England international doesn’t have a future at Stamford Bridge with a switch to a Premier League side likely before the end of the January transfer window.
