Chelsea are among the teams who have an “active interest” in signing Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, according to 90min.com. The website claims the Blues, Manchester City and Leicester are also keeping tabs on the 18-year-old’s contract situation.

The teenager has just twelve months to run on his current deal at the Emirates, and while the Gunners are said to be keen to offer a pay rise to the player, talks have reportedly not taken place between his agent and his club for a couple of months.

The current global health crisis and Arsenal’s negotiations with the first-team squad over a 12.5% pay cut may have had something to do with that.

However, it is believed that Saka is due a significant salary increase no matter the situation, with the winger still only on a reported £3,000 a week despite breaking into the first team this campaign.
