Chelsea Have Already Tabled 50M Bid For Ligue One Star Ahead Of The January Transfer Window

Chelsea have made a €60m (£50m) offer for Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni in “recent weeks”, according to Tuttosport.

The Italian newspaper reports that the Blues have an “almost unbridgeable advantage” over Serie A side Juventus who were also keen on the France international.

However, it is believed that Chelsea have not won the race for Tchouameni quite yet, with three other Premier League clubs still said to be in the running for the 21-year-old’s signature.

Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle are also reportedly looking to snap up the young midfielder during the January transfer window, although it does look like Thomas Tuchel’s side are in the driving seat at the moment.

Tchouameni has been on the London club’s radar for the best part of twelve months, with reports about their interest emerging last January, so we shall see if the Blues can finally secure the player’s services in the New Year.
