Chelsea Given Double Injury Boost Ahead Of The Game Against Fulham

Chelsea pair Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are back in full training ahead of Thursday’s match against Fulham.

Loftus-Cheek has been out since before the World Cup with a calf problem, having sustained the injury in the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United back in November.

Aubaemeyang, meanwhile, was not in the matchday squad for the 4-0 loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup at the weekend, prompting speculation that he had fallen out of favour under manager Graham Potter.

However, it later transpired that the 33-year-old had been sidelined with a back strain. He is now back available and should be in contention to start at Craven Cottage.

The Blues are still without eight other players due to fitness problems, with the likes of Christian Pulisic (knee) and Edouard Mendy (fractured finger) among the latest casualties who are now expected to miss a number of matches over the next few weeks.
