Mourinho will want to forget what happened against PSG and start preparing for the remaining Premier League matches. With less than a dozen games left and with the most difficult confrontations yet to come, Chelsea need to make sure they don’t lose composure. The have enough time to prepare for what will be a decisive month as far as the League competition goes. They will face Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool in a 20 day interval which will most likely decide whether they win the trophy or not.

Fans should not be worried though considering how good Mourinho is at motivating and helping players recover after disappointments such as the one against PSG. According to the Guardian, the Portuguese boss had a short talk with his players and set up a meeting to figure out why his team crashed out the way they did. Even though he looked disappointed he did not look angry at his players. He mentioned the fact that some players were overwhelmed by the pressure and he was surprisingly calm regarding the decisions made by the referees.

Chelsea now need to focus on Sunday’s game when they will be facing Southampton. It may be a key moment for Mourinho who will need to make sure the Blues win. A victory at Stamford Bridge could do a lot of good for the entire club and will keep them on track and help them to improve their morale for the remainder of the campaign.
