Chelsea forward to push for exit if Antonio Conte remains in charge next season

Chelsea forward Willian to look to leave the club this summer if Antonio Conte remains manager, according to reports.

The Brazil international has fallen out of favour with the Italian in recent weeks, and was used as only a late substitute in the Blues’ FA Cup final win over Manchester United on Saturday.

And the 29-year-old did little to hide his feelings at his exclusion from the starting line-up – editing Conte out of a celebratory post on his Instagram in which he shared a photo of the squad with the trophy.

Despite being named as Chelsea’s Player’s Player of the Season however, Sky Sports News now report he will leave Stamford Bridge should Conte remain such is his unhappiness with his treatment from the Italian.

Conte was widely expected to leave the Blues after a difficult season and a number of high profile bust ups with the club’s hierarchy – however lifting the FA Cup on Saturday may now have saved his job for at least another season.

And should that be the case, Willian will ask to leave the club in search of more regular football.

A host of club’s have already been put on high alert following the reports, including Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho is a big admirer of the Brazil international, and is understood to be keen on a reunion with his former player should he become available.
