Chelsea fans have urged new manager Maurizio Sarri to axe Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer.
The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Blues in a £40 million deal from AS Monaco last year, however enjoyed a torrid first season in English football.
The Frenchman came under heavy criticism in the press for his lacklustre performances in the first half of the season, including from Chelsea legend Frank Lampard who slammed his lack of ‘effort’ in the middle of the park.
Despite his critics, Bakayoko remained a constant figure in manager Antonio Conte’s midfield, making 43 appearances in all competitions, including starting 24 of the Blues’ 38 Premier League games.
Bakayoko’s role at Stamford Bridge however is now under threat after Chelsea completed the signing of Napoli midfielder Jorginho, with the 26-year-old expected to be a regular starter at The Bridge alongside N’Golo Kante.
Time to go, Bakayoko? These lot think so …

I know I’m dreaming a little (especially on the RW!), but here’s my potential semi-realistic squad under Sarri this year, taking into account rumoured exits for Morata (wants to leave, allegedly), Willian, Bakayoko (loan), Drinks, Pedro, Cahill and Zappa. Lots of games to play. pic.twitter.com/CCu0Gg3454

Look at Real Madrid's midfield: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Isco, Kovacic, Llorente, Ceballos
This is why they are dominating football.Chelsea need to get rid of Bakayoko and Drinkwater and get Thiago and Paredes
Thiago/Cesc, Jorginho/Paredes, Kante/Barkley as good as Madrid's.
