Chelsea fans have urged their club to complete a deal for Nabil Fekir before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
The Blues are shock favourites to land the France international after his proposed move to Liverpool earlier this summer broke down at the last minute.
ExpressSport claim the Blues opened talks with Lyon over a deal for Fekir yesterday evening prior to to the two side’s pre-season clash at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are willing to offer £55 million to lure Fekir to South West London, with manager Maurizio Sarri aiming to end the summer on a high note in the transfer market after an otherwise quiet few months.
However Lyon after desperate to keep hold of their club captain after an impressive last season in which he scored scored 23 times as Les Gones finished third in Ligue 1 and reached the last 16 of the Europa League.
The Chelsea fans however are hoping the Blues can test Lyon’s resistance as the transfer window draws to a close …
