Chelsea fans have been left furious after Michy Batshauyi’s brilliant start to his Dortmund career.
The Belgian was on hand to score a brace, as well as provide an assist, on his debut was Dortmund ran out 3-2 winners against FC Koln.
Batshuayi joined the Bundesliga outfit on a six-month loan deal on transfer deadline day, being brought in as a replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was sold to Arsenal.
Chelsea then signed Olivier Giroud from the Gunners to complete the trio of transfers.
Batshuayi’s departure was not greeted kindly by Chelsea fans however, many of whom feel the young striker should have been given his chance to lead the line at Stamford Bridge in Alvaro Morata’s absence.

The former Marseille striker hit 12 goals this season before his move – the same amount as Morata – however was not preferred by manager Antonio Conte, with the Italian more often than not excluding him from the starting line-up.
The Belgian also became somewhat of a cult hero last season at Stamford Bridge, scoring the goal that secured the Premier League title his side after a season in which opportunities were hard to come by.
To add insult to his already disappointing departure, not only did Batshauyi show his true colours on his Dortmund debut – he was sorely missed on Tuesday night as Chelsea played without a striker and were humbled 3-0 by struggling Bournemouth at The Bridge.
Chelsea fans aren’t happy …
