Chelsea Eyeing Terry And Falcao Replacements

Despite Terry’s interest in signing a new extension for next season and also Falcao’s desire to prove he is indeed fit for the Premier League, Mourinho is very likely to replace the two at the end of the season or even earlier, at the end of this year. If in Terry’s case replacing means leaving him on the bench, the Colombian striker might leave Stamford Bridge this winter and be replaced by Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.

The Frenchman is not in the best of shape right now which is probably caused by the numerous rumors that had him moving this summer. Even so he still showed massive potential and might be the perfect replacement for Falcao whose future is no longer looking that bright. Lacazette on the other hand looks in need of a change in scenery which could turn him into a top scorer again. According to Metro, the 24-year-old is also targeted by Arsenal and Liverpool and is evaluated at about £23m.

When it comes to replacing Terry, Zouma does not seem like a sure thing. The solution could come from France just as in Falcao’s case. Nicholas N’Koulou who is currently playing for OM, has not extended his contract and will become a free agent in June 2016. The 25 year old has shown consistency which is exactly what Chelsea need in their defense. The Cameroon international has moved from Monaco to Marseille back in 2011 and has a total of 450 appearances in Ligue 1.
