Chelsea Eyeing Champions League Winner As Pulisic’s Replacement

Chelsea are tracking Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman as they weigh up potential replacements for Christian Pulisic, according to reports in England.

Pulisic is said to be worried about his lack of game time under Thomas Tuchel and the American international could ask to leave Stamford Bridge if his playing situation doesn’t improve between now and the summer.

With regards to Coman, the Frenchman could well be available, with Bayern expected to sell the 24-year-old if he doesn’t sign a contract extension. The winger, who scored the winning goal in last year’s Champions League final, has two years remaining on his current deal at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern reportedly fear a similar situation that has allowed David Alaba to run down his contract, so they would be open to offers for Coman if they arrive this summer.

Chelsea won’t be the only team after the France international, though, with both Manchester United and Manchester City having a long-standing interest in the player.
