Chelsea Express Interest In Snapping Up PSG Defender Who Is Keen On Move To Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have registered an interest in Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa, according to France Football. The French magazine claims that the 27-year-old would be open to a move to London, but he wants to know where he would feature in Frank Lampard’s first-team plans.

The Blues already have Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri, and one of those two players would likely have to depart for the Frenchman to have a place in Lampard’s squad.

Kurzawa is available on a free transfer, with his contract at PSG expiring at the end of this month, but there is a lot of interest in the player from other clubs.

Arsenal also said to be looking at the defender, with the Gunners reportedly having maintained contact with the player and his representatives, although it is believed that head coach Mikel Arteta may opt against the move in favour of giving more game time to Bukayo Saka.

Atletico Madrid are also considering an approach for Kurzawa as they look for experienced competition for young left-back Ronan Lodi.
