Chelsea Expected To Make THIRD Bid As They Look To Wrap Up Deal For 20M Rated Italian Wonderkid

Chelsea are ready to make another attempt to sign Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei, according to the Evening Standard‘s Nizaar Kinsella.

The Blues have already had two bids knocked back for the teenager, with Inter said to be holding out for a fee in the region of £20m.

Considering the London club have already tied up a deal for another young midfielder in Carney Chukwuemeka, it is somewhat surprising that they are still looking to bring in Casadei as well.

However, Kinsella claims that academy manager Neil Bath has “extensively scouted” the Italian and co-owner Todd Boehly is keen to back those at the club who want to bring in more young talent to Cobham.

Inter do reportedly need to make up a shortfall in their budget so, while they would like to keep Casadei, they would be prepared to offload the 19-year-old if a team meets their valuation.

Arsenal have also been mentioned as a potential suitor so Chelsea may need to move fast in order to secure the player’s signature.
