Chelsea will have to keep a close eye on 19 year old star, Lewis Baker. The youngster has had an amazing year, managing to impress all the people who have been watching. Currently called up to England’s U21 team, the midfielder is expected to take the step to Chelsea’s first team as well. After spending 9 years in London, the midfielder is determined to make an impression on the Premier League as well. According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho has been watching closely during the past few months and even suggested that Baker is ready to join England’s senior squad.

Not many have heard about Baker, but it is almost guaranteed that he will be one of the players to look for during the next few seasons. He impresses through his incredible dribbling speed and with the fact that both feet seem to have the same accuracy as far as shots go. Similar to Oscar, the 19 year old seems a bit stronger and faster. He also looks like a born leader especially after he led the U20 team to some great victories.

Baker signed a 5 year contract with Chelsea this summer and is expected to make his way among his more experienced colleagues. Mourinho seems really impressed with the youngster and has decided to keep him around. This means that he could get the chance to perform very soon. Unlike other young players who are currently on loan, Baker will probably be given the chance to improve while playing for Chelsea.
