Chelsea Disappointed In Gael Kakuta

Gael Kakuta who is considered to be one of the best players of his generation continues to disappoint when it comes to his general behavior. The 22 year old winger who has been under contract with Chelsea since 2009 recently decided he would rather train with the Blues’ second team rather than play for Vitesse.

The Frenchman joined the Dutch side 2 years back but failed to impress, managing only 29 appearances in which he scored 1 goal.  According to the Daily Star, Kakuta was the one who ended his collaboration with the team from Arnhem. This was his 4th failed loan experience after being sent to play for Fulham, Bolton and Dijon.

None of the teams he has spent time with managed to get the best out of this amazing player which according to Chelsea’s top scout, Guy Hillion, could have become a real star if not for his questionable character. Kakuta has had problems even since he joined the London side. He got the Blues a two transfer window ban after FIFA agreed with Lens who accused their player of breaking the contract in order to move to Chelsea.

Despite being incredibly talented, Kakuta has a lot of character flaws which have always come between him and his career. It looks like the 22 year old Frenchman is not going to be willing to leave on another loan and will probably request a transfer sometime soon. With only 6 appearances since moving to London and with 12 substitute appearances for Vitesse, it is hard to believe he will manage to ever become part of Mourinho’s team.
