Chelsea Defender Kalas To Be Loaned Out To New Club In January!

The 21-year-old agreed a season-long loan move to Bundesliga side FC Koln in June. However, he is yet to be given any opportunities having failed to make a single appearance for his new club. The defender is frustrated at Koln and his nightmare will soon end with Chelsea ready to recall the centre-back.

The Blues want to loan him out to another club in January and are considering their options. Mourinho naturally wants to find a club in which Kalas can get an extended run in the side. Kalas doesn’t lack suitors with his agent revealing that several clubs are interested in a temporary deal for his client, according to the Standard.

He said, “We have been negotiating the situation surrounding Kalas and there are a number of options in the UK and the Netherlands. One of them is QPR. We want Tomas to play regularly and would like to have his future sorted out before the start of the transfer window, so that the matter is concluded for all parties concerned.”

Kalas joined Chelsea for a nominal fee in 2010 from Czech side Sigma Olomouc and has made only two league appearances for the Blues. He is contracted at the club till 2017.
