AC Milan could make Chelsea target Rafael Leao available for between €70m (£61m) and €80m (£70m) at the end of the season, according to reports in Italy.
The Portuguese international is closing in on the final twelve months of his contract at the San Siro but he has yet to sign an extension with the Rossoneri.
It is believed that Chelsea were willing to offer €120m (£105m) for Leao last summer, only for Milan to knock back the Blues’ interest in the winger.
Whether Graham Potter’s side will consider going back in for the 23-year-old now they have signed Mykhailo Mudryk, it is debatable.
While the Ukrainian international has struggled since arriving from Shakhtar Donetsk in January, Chelsea are very unlikely to cut their losses after just six months.
Leao also has plenty of other suitors. Manchester City are known to be long-term admirers of the player, while Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been mentioned as potential suitors too.
