Chelsea Could Sign 86M Rated La Liga Star ON LOAN As They Enter Transfer Battle With United And PSG

Atletico Madrid will consider loaning out Joao Felix during the January transfer window, according to Cadena SER.

The Spanish radio station says an “assignment with a mandatory purchase clause” is something that Atletico may accept as they appreciate that other clubs may have to spread out payments due to Financial Fairplay.

It is believed that Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are the three teams likeliest to make a move for Felix when the window opens next month.

The forward’s asking price is reportedly €100m (£86m) so an initial loan could be attractive, particularly for the Blues who spent over £270m last summer.

Felix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is believed to have already told Atletico that the player wants to leave the Wanda Metropolitano and the La Liga club are seemingly prepared to let him depart.

We shall have to wait and see, though, whether Chelsea will go ahead and make a formal approach for the Portuguese international in the coming weeks.
