Chelsea could make the move of the summer and secure the services of 33 year old Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish striker has had a fallout with PSG after some strange behavior towards the club and despite scoring 30 goals this season, Metro are reporting his imminent departure. Mourinho could not be happier hearing such news as the Blues are looking to replace Drogba with a player of similar characteristics. Ibrahimovic would be of massive help for the team and could easily play for one or two more years. Even if the striker’s wife would prefer moving back to Milano, Ibrahimovic’s agent could help seal the deal with Chelsea.

Having Ibrahimovic reunited with Mourinho could help bring the best out of the Sweden international. Back when he was at Inter, he finished the season as top scorer and he has been a constant admirer of the Portuguese boss who will definitely jump at the chance of having the option to choose between Costa, Remy and Ibrahimovic when it comes to selecting the attack.

The 33 year old has left his mark in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and France where he has won a total of 27 trophies. None of those are for the Champions League though, which might be the biggest incentive for him to sign with Chelsea. The Blues are one of the favorites for winning the competition next year and signing Ibra might just give them the extra edge needed to secure the most coveted trophy out there.
