Chelsea Boosted By Costa Fitness

Chelsea will have the Barclays Premier League top scorer Diego Costa in the starting eleven when they take on rivals Arsenal on Sunday, after the striker has managed to regain his fitness on the back of several hamstring niggles that came in his way playing regularly, according to the Daily Mail.

The Blues are on the top of the Premier League, and Costa has a lot to do with this position. The Spaniard came into the side as Fernando Torres left the club on loan to AC Milan. Didier Drogba was also signed to give assistance in attack, but Jose Mourinho planned to make Costa the primary striker for the season. So far, the former Atletico Madrid attacker has adapted well to life in the Premier League, and has managed to fight off opposition defenders to score goals in every game. Eden Hazard has also been a regular feature for the league leaders, and that has helped Costa with a quick winger assisting in moves. Cesc Fabregas has added significant quality to the Chelsea midfield, and has provided sublime flair to attacks.

Arsenal will be in a confident frame of mind after defeating Galatasaray comfortably in their latest Champions League group fixture at the Emirates Stadium. Danny Welbeck will be the man to watch out for in Arsene Wenger’s squad, and will have a challenge to overcome the hostile atmosphere at Stamford Bridge.
