Chelsea are among a number of teams who are tracking Dynamo Kiev attacking midfielder Mykola Shaparenko, according to reports in the UK.

Although the Blues are currently subject to a transfer ban, they are believed to have been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old, who is seen as having massive potential.

In addition to Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham have also been monitoring Shaparenko’s progress.

The Ukrainian international generally plays in central midfield, but can also play in a more advanced role behind the striker.

Shaparenko made 33 appearances in all competitions last campaign, scoring eight goals an providing three assists.

He actually played against Chelsea in the Europe League, playing the full 90 minutes in both legs of the last 16 tie which saw the Blues come out 8-0 winners on aggregate.

Shaparenko also has four caps for Ukraine, although he was an unused substitute in their match against Luxembourg in the Euro 2020 qualifier last month.
