Chelsea Adopting A Hazard-ous Approach?

It all looks promising for Jose Mourinho in his first season back at Chelsea Football Club. His team is at the very summit, are looking solid in defense and menacing in attack. However, what is blatantly obvious to everyone is the emergence of Eden Hazard who has really come to the fore this season, and is being touted as the main reason behind Chelsea’s rich form.

Not many would disagree, that after a rather mediocre debut season last time around, he has now hit the ground running under Mourinho and has reached heights previously imagined for the Belgian. Loyalists believe that he has the potential of soon being regarded alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

On the days when Hazard is in the mood, Chelsea blow away opponents with relative ease; though what is disturbing is when he is having an off day, there is no one to take his place, believe Metro. Hazard was on song when Chelsea beat Manchester City 1-0 at the Etihad in the league, however he was kept quiet in the 2-0 FA Cup defeat to them a few days ago.

Teams lining up against the Blues have only one agenda on their mind – stop Eden Hazard. With the likes of Samuel Eto’o and Fernando Torres – whose job is to score goals – failing to show up; one cannot help but entertain the situation that an injury to Hazard could possibly derail Chelsea’s march to the league title.
