Chelsea Ace’s Agent ‘Touched Base’ With Bundesliga Side As He Tries To Engineer A Move Away From England

The representatives of Chelsea forward Timo Werner have “touched base” with Borussia Dortmund about a possible move to the German club, according to 90min.com.

The 25-year-old is not believed to be unhappy at Stamford Bridge but he knows the writing is on the wall, in terms of being a regular first-team starter, if a new striker is brought in.

Werner is aware that the Blues are keen on signing Erling Haaland and his agent has made it known to Dortmund that he would be open to being included in a part-exchange deal.

Other reports have already suggested that Dortmund are not interested in such an arrangement so the forward’s next destination is likely to be elsewhere.

Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also keen on Werner, and out of those three, Bayern are said to be the favourites as the striker would prefer a move back to Germany.
