Chelsea Ace Weighing Up ‘Proposals From Other Clubs’ After Rejecting New Deal

Chelsea winger Willian is considering “proposals from other clubs” after rejecting a two-year contract from the Blues, according to UOL Esporte.

The news outlet claims the 31-year-old is not going to return to Brazil and is looking to stay in Europe next season. They report that a number of teams, including some in England, have already made contact about signing him.

Blues manager Frank Lampard has spoken out about Willian’s situation over the past week, stating that talks were still “ongoing” regarding the Brazilian international’s future.

However, the main sticking point in negotiations continues to be the length of the contract. The winger has stated that he wants a three-year deal to stay at Stamford Bridge but the London club have only offered two years.

At the moment, it does appear that Willian will be leaving Chelsea in the summer, and by the sounds of it, a move to another Premier League club cannot be ruled out.
