Chelsea Ace Receives £50K A Week, 3 Year Contract Offer From Italy As Interest In Star Intensifies

Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez has been offered a €3m a season, three-year contract by Serie A side Roma, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Giallorossi are reportedly very keen to snap up the 32-year-old and they are hoping a proposed £50k a week deal will be enough for him to make the switch to Italy.

Pedro is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to talk to foreign clubs. The Spanish international spoke out yesterday saying he is “open” to leaving Chelsea, but he wants to have a meeting with the Blues first before making a decision.

Roma are not the only team looking to sign the forward, though, with Real Betis and Al Sadd having now also reportedly entered the race for the Spaniard.

The Qatari side are managed by Xavi, who played with Pedro at Barcelona, and it appears he will try to persuade his former teammate into moving to the Middle East.
