Chelsea FC started off in 1905 and it was 50 years before they claimed their first trophy – the League title. They did enjoy some success over the years and in the late nineties under the ownership of Ken Bates but things really changed in 2003 when they were purchased by Mr Roman Abramovich who has since helped the Blues become one of the World’s leading sports teams. He has assembled a truly world class side with an infrastructure and management to match including hiring the “Special One” – Jose Mourinho twice.

The sky is the limit for the club and each season the ambitions are as high they can be. Chelsea FC really are a sporting juggernaut and despite the “blip” in form this season they are still a team which is one of the most successful clubs both on the field and off it.
