Cardiff Drop Chelsea’s Islam Feruz To Sign Scott Malone

Chelsea’s 19 year old rising star, Islam Feruz will have to keep playing for the club’s U21 team after returning from the Greek Super League. The striker was close to signing with Cardiff but got pushed aside probably because of his complicated situation and the hard to handle attitude everyone is talking about. The Somalian born Scottish player is seen as a bit of a handful mostly because the problems he encountered while leaving Celtic. He also recently refused to represent Scotland in a friendly match which spawned a huge scandal. The youngster benefited off of several favors coming from both his former club and from the Scottish football association who bent a few rules to allow him to stay in the country and play at an international level.

According to Wales Online, Feruz is going to stay with Chelsea for the rest of the season. Playing for Cardiff City was his only chance of making his first step towards the Premier League. Even though he is performing constantly for The Blues’ U19 team, the Somalian would have had a lot to learn from the Championship.

Cardiff City apparently paid around £100,000 for Scott Malone which means there is less money for signing Feruz who is quite expensive even for a player on loan. Despite training with Cardiff all of last week, there is little chance to see him join the Championship side now.
