Cardiff Direct Focus On Chelsea’s Islam Feruz Once Again

Chelsea’s Islam Feruz could be getting a second chance to stay close to London for the rest of the season. According to the Daily Mail, the 19 year old will be offered a deal after all even though Cardiff already spent a big part of their budget. In an even more unexpected turn of events it seems that the Championship team are actually pressing to bring in the striker who is expected to end the 2014-2015 playing for the Bluebirds.

Feruz managed to spawn interest in some other teams including Bolton Wonderers. The Scotland U21 international who spent time in Greece playing for OFI Crete and won the FA Youth Cup with Chelsea, is a promising bet most small teams are willing to take right now. He is somewhat affordable in terms of salary and he looks determined to prove Chelsea he is worthy of being part of the first team. The 19 year old is probably hoping to find a spot next to Remy and Costa after Drogba retires. It will be difficult for him though considering the fact that Mourinho is expected to bring in a forward similar to the Ivorian.

Playing for Cardiff will be a step up for Feruz who needs to gain some experience playing against Premier League and mostly English teams before he can say he is ready to return to Chelsea.
