Chelsea centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly has found it difficult to adapt to life at his new club but he is still looking to buy a house in London, according to reports.
Despite the Senegalese international having been benched by Graham Potter just six months after the defender’s arrival at Stamford Bridge, it appears the player is intent on staying put. While a few fans on Twitter believe Koulibaly can still be a success with the Blues, many have doubts over the centre-half’s long-term future:
Translation: can't hack the Premier league but likes the paycheck and lifestyle that comes with it

Hope he adjusts soon and becomes the defender we expected when we bought him.

He’s ready to cook on the bench

Maybe he can turn it around. Rudiger struggled as well at times but when he settled he ended up being one of our best defenders.
Am also hoping Cucurella can also settle and gain form.— Ji CFC (@My_Ji10) February 14, 2023

Why should he buy a house when he'll be leaving Chelsea in the summer?
Someone with his experience shouldn't be struggling to adjust.
Look at Christiansen, he's adjusted perfectly at Barcelona and he has half of Koulibaly's experience— Peter Valentine (@Petvalentino007) February 14, 2023
Might as well look for a seat belt so he can wear it on that bench coz Badiashile is clear

It’s fair to say that Koulibaly has been a big disappointment since arriving in England. He had built himself a big reputation after his time in Italy but he has struggled with the pace of the Premier League.
The fact that he has already found himself behind Benoit Badiashile in the pecking order does suggest he may not be at Chelsea very long, but it’s probably wise not to write him off too soon.
