GK – Robert Sanchez

Robert Sanchez

The Spaniard had a less-than-convincing debut last Sunday and fans will be hoping to see some improvement in upcoming fixtures.

Sanchez could do little with Luis Diaz’s opener, but the way he sold himself for Mo Salah’s second, which was ruled out for offside, was concerning.

While the majority of his passing was solid, he did give the ball away late on in the second half. If Alexis Mac Allister had been more precise with his pass to Darwin Nunez, the keeper’s mistake could have been punished.

West Ham is not an easy place to go for the first away fixture of the season so Sanchez could be called into action a lot more than he was last weekend.
