Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will need to pick up his players quickly after a humbling defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night. They face Bournemouth at the weekend with Eddie Howe’s side fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table.

The Blues could be without Tammy Abraham after the 22-year-old suffered a setback in his recovery from an ankle problem. Christian Pulisic (groin), Callum Hudson-Odoi (hamstring), N’Golo Kante (muscular) and Marco van Ginkel (fitness) are also unavailable.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, have seen their injury crisis ease in recent weeks. Former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake will be back in contention following a concussion but Jefferson Lerma is still a doubt after missing the last two games with a rib injury.

Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld remains sidelined with a foot injury, while Lloyd Kelly (thigh), Charlie Daniels (knee), David Brooks (ankle) and Chris Mepham (knee) are all out of contention.
