Blues To Offer Mourinho New Deal!

Mourinho has two and a half years left on his current deal after signing a four-year deal when re-joining the club last summer. His first stint yielded five major trophies for the London side and Chelsea believe there is more to add to that tally after offering the Portuguese a lucrative deal to extend his deal, according to the Express.

The Blues went trophy-less last year in Mourinho’s second stint as Chelsea manager but they are primed to lift a trophy this season. They are in scintillating form and have yet to taste defeat this season. They have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League and are six points clear of Man City for the league title.

Their impressive start has prompted the club to offer Mourinho a new deal. The former Real Madrid manager has previously expressed his desire to stay at the club for a long time. He had said, “I’m not here thinking about my next move because I don’t want to have a next move. I will have a next move if and when Chelsea decides it’s time for that. I’m here to stay. I belong to Chelsea, Chelsea belong to me.”
