Chelsea will look to loan out Davide Zappacosta in order for Reece James to get more first-team chances, according to reports in England.
It was originally the club’s intention to keep Ola Aina and send James out on another loan spell, but the Nigerian’s departure to Torino has led to a change in plan.
Supporters on Twitter are very happy to hear that James will be given greater game time:

If this happens, and I hope I’m not getting too much ahead of myself here, but if this happens, then this is the best transfer windows we’ve had in this club for about 4 or 5 years

The 19-year-old is currently sidelined with an ankle injury but he is expected to return to training very soon, with manager Frank Lampard likely to give him a more prominent role.
Cesar Azpilicueta is still expected to be first-choice right-back but James will likely give him a run for his money.
James was named in the Championship’s team of the season last campaign during his season-long loan at Wigan. Many believe he has what it takes to make the step up to the Premier League.
