Batshuayi And Emerson To Start, Abraham And Azpilicueta To Drop Out: Chelsea’s Predicted Line Up To Face West Ham

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard would have been happy with some parts of the performance against Valencia midweek but the club’s defensive problems continue to hold the team back.

After struggling midweek, Andreas Christensen is likely to make way for Fikayo Tomori when the Blues play West Ham tomorrow. Emerson Palmieri could also replace Cesar Azpilicueta to provide more balance on the left-hand side.

In midfield, the trio of Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic will likely start once more, with Mason Mount having to be satisfied with a place on the bench.

Willian did struggle on Wednesday so Callum Hudson-Odoi could come in for the Brazilian on the right flank, but with the 19-year-old having only recently recovered from a thigh problem, Lampard may opt to keep things as they are on the wings.

With Tammy Abraham having been officially ruled out by Lampard, Michy Batshuayi is the favourite to take the Chelsea no.9’s place in the side.

Chelsea’s Predicted Starting XI To Face West Ham:

Kepa, James, Zouma, Tomori, Emerson, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Batshuayi, Pulisic
