Barcelona’s Stance On Selling Ter Stegen Revealed As Chelsea ‘Set Their Sights’ On Swap Deal With Kepa

Barcelona have had no contact from Chelsea about signing Marc-Andre ter Stegen and will turn down any approach from the Blues, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan publication has responded to claims in the UK that Frank Lampard’s side have “set their sights” on the German international as they look to make a change in goal.

It has also been suggested that Kepa Arrizabalaga could move in the other direction as part of the deal for ter Stegen but it appears that the move is a non-starter.

Chelsea are believed to be very keen to sign a new number one with Manchester United’s Dean Henderson and Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak also said to be high on their list of targets.

However, it does seem that at least one of these three keepers could be unattainable this summer. What is clear, though, is that the club are actively trying to replace Kepa who has not managed to convince Lampard.
