Balotelli May Be A Dead End For Chelsea

Chelsea’s offensive line is just starting to live up to expectations. Torres looks like he might be finally out of his endless rut, and Eto’o’s form is permanently improving. Even so the Blues will surely try to sign a young and effective striker that will complete the Stamford Bridge team. With Torres nearly 30, the club will probably have to sell him if they want to get at least some money back. His contract expires in 2016 but it is very hard to believe that he will stay until the end at Stamford Bridge.

The summer of 2013 came with a lot of options for the Blues. Falcao was most likely to end up in London but in a strange series of events he chose Monaco. Hulk, Higuain, Cavani and even Rooney were on Mourinho’s shopping list but none made it to Stamford Bridge. Even with Abramovich’s endless funding, the team failed to land a star striker to deliver in front of goal. Recently rumors have emerged that Balotelli could be once again working with Mourinho. The Italian international’s agent said that his player is not very happy with the way things are going for him in Milan and that a transfer could take place.

According to Metro, AC Milan will not even consider opening negotiations. The young striker has only been with the Italian side since January and has become their most effective striker of the season. His complicated personality might be a problem but not one that important to send Balotelli packing.

After hearing about a possible deal between Chelsea and Milan, Massimiliano Allegri insisted on the fact that there is no chance of letting the Italian international go during the winter transfer period. He even said that managing Balotelli is not that difficult once you get the hang of it. Unfortunately for the Italian side, rumors say that City’s former striker is unhappy with his off pitch life and that the continuous attention he receives is getting to him. England is probably a better suited Championship for the likes of Balotelli.
