Rumours have ben coming going all summer about the need for Barca to unload some high-paying stars after gambling their future revenue streams to be able the sign the likes or Raphinha, Robert Lewandovski, Jules Kounde, Dan Christensen but name a few.

So this move seems to suit everyone and Auba and Tuchel have a excellent record with the Gabonese striker scoring on average a goal every 135 minutes at Dortmund while adding a goal very other game for Arsenal and has added a goal every 60 minutes in the 20 games he has played for Barca.

This move seems to me is a slam dunk for Chelsea they get a motivated striker still at the peak of his powers who is coming back to a city he knows with something to prove after he left under a cloud after words with Gunners boss Arteta. Returning to a league he knows and he is to join a squad of genuine depth and true quality. I am sure he feels like anything is possible this year but surely Arteta and company will be very focused and intent on gaining a much needed return to winning ways after the United loss on Sunday Vs Everton at the Emirates but more importantly laying down a marker to the League that this ain’t the same old Arsenal.

I have no ideas what went on at Arsenal with Auba but I thought he was always committed to the Gunners and I expect he will have something to say about where the title ends up and he also will relish playing in the Champions League where he belongs. Can’t knock the new owner he has backed Tuchel and now we can only hope the team gels quickly but it is so deep in players keeping a harmonious squad means the former PSG manager needs to be on his game.

It’s gonna be a cracking season with City looking strong early and plus an improved if a slightly more circumspect, solid United side under ETH while Spurs look like a formidable side under Conte who love or hate him is an excellent manager and makes the PL a much better league while Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford and Leeds are showing signs of stepping up to be able to be aiming at top 7-10 in the PL realistically.
