Are Recent Transfer Rumors Pointing To Oscar’s Departure

Oscar’s time at Stamford Bridge could be coming to an end as Juventus seem closer and closer to signing the Brazilian star. According to Squawka, the latest rumors point to a possible departure as Chelsea start bidding for a replacement. There are two big names on top of the list and both seem like more than appropriate replacements for the 23 year old Brazilian.

The first player who could be replacing Oscar is Real Madrid’s Isco. Apparently the midfielder is no longer keen on spending time on the bench substituting for James Rodriguez. The Spaniard not only needs to handle the fact that the Colombian is in amazing form but he also needs to handle the fact that the £73m spend to bring in Rodriguez weighs a lot when it comes to picking the first eleven. Chelsea fans should be excited if this move does go through. Isco is brilliant, spectacular and could make a killer pair with Fabregas while being backed up by Matic.

The second player who just emerged as a possible replacement for Oscar is Bayern’s Mario Gotze. The man who won Germany the World Cup is not feeling well playing for Guardiola who is known for being extremely strict. The young midfielder is known for being kind of a rebel and that seems to have caused a rift between him and Barcelona’s former manager. With Mourinho being an admirer of the 23 year old who is under contract until 2017, there is a chance a bid will be made. He is currently valued at £49.6million which might lean the balance in favor of Isco who will probably cost half that but will deliver the same top notch performances.
