‘Always Been Overrated’ ‘6 And A Half Year Contract. I Am In Tears’ Fans Slam Chelsea Star After Struggling Once Again In Fulham Loss

Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah put in a disappointing performance as the Blues suffered another demoralising defeat to Fulham on Thursday night.

The 23-year-old, who has signed a new long-term contract in the last couple of months, looked nervous and made a number of mistakes in the 2-1 loss at Craven Cottage.

Fans on Twitter did not hold back in their criticism of Chalobah, who they believe should be nowhere near the first team based on his current form:

While he was arguably unlucky that Willian’s shot deflected off him and into the back of the net, there were plenty of other instances where Chalobah was at fault.

Some mistimed headers in the first half presented Fulham with opportunities to score, while his failure to mark Carlos Vinicius resulted in the Cottagers scoring the winning goal.

With manager Graham Potter reverting to three at the back, it should have helped Chalobah feel more comfortable in his surroundings, but he struggled badly.
