The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has said he has not heard from anyone at Juventus regarding a possible switch to the Serie A champions.
Reports in the UK have suggested that Juve are keen on snapping up the 28-year-old and are prepared to offer Miralem Pjanic in exchange for the Italian, but Joao Santos has said the player remains happy in London:
“Juve are one of the top clubs in Europe, all players would like an experience there. But I didn’t hear from anyone, [Fabio] Paratici hasn’t called me. Jorginho is currently a Chelsea player, has a three-year contract and is doing well in London.”
Asked about the possibility of being reunited with manager Maurizio Sarri, Santos was more circumspect with his answer, simply stating that Juventus is a “great club” hinting that Jorginho may well be open to making the move if an offer was made.
However, a swap deal involving Pjanic isn’t looking likely with the Bosnian international said to have his heart set on a move to Barcelona. The La Liga club, along with Paris Saint-Germain, are both said to be looking to sign the 30-year-old when the transfer window reopens.
